LEIF ERIKSON LODGE WELCOMES YOU
ABOUT US
Organized on May 13, 1903, Sons of Norway Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001 makes its home in Ballard/Seattle, Washington at Leif Erikson Hall. Sons of Norway is the largest Norwegian-American organization in the world, comprised of members in the United States, Canada, and Norway. The organization provides opportunities for members to familiarize themselves with the culture and traditions of Norway through activities and events throughout the year, as well as volunteer opportunities for them:
-
Annual Heritage Day and Fall Bazaar
-
Trollhaugen Recreational Facility at Stampede Pass
-
Norway Park on Lake McMurray
The lodge also participates in a wide variety of other social events. Sons of Norway lodge activities encourage expression of Norwegian culture and community concern. And, of course, all Leif Erikson Lodge members have access to general Sons of Norway membership and financial benefits.
Leif Erikson Lodge acknowledges our lodge stands on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish people past and present, and honors with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish people.
