About the event
Join us on June 10 for our last dinner and meeting until September! Every June member meeting we reduce our dinner cost to $10 for a light meal and beverage. Dinner will be prepared by the Cultural Committee, headed by our Cultural Director Sheila Bartenen, and will include charcuterie board, pasta salad, green salad, breads, Kringle, and cake.
The program will mark the 40th anniversary of Leif Erikson Hall, and we will introduce several of our members who helped build it. Christine Anderson, our lodge Historian and who was there when the Hall was being built, will give a presentation about the history and process of building it!
We will also have a short presentation before our business meeting by Karen Schaefer, who will share information about her recent 2-week trip to Norway, sponsored by the Norwegian Vesterheim Museum. Karen is a lodge and Leikarringen member, as well as a…
